About Align
A local prosthetics and orthotics practice, run by the clinician you’ll see
Align Prosthetics is run by Maegan Morrison, an AOPA Certified prosthetist and orthotist on the Sunshine Coast. Maegan sees every client herself, at home or at the Birtinya clinic, for prosthetic limbs, AFOs, braces and orthoses for adults and children.
Maegan calls you back personally, usually within one business day.

How we work
One clinician, start to finish
Maegan takes your first call, does your assessment, fits your device and sees you at every review. You never have to repeat your story.
Care where it suits you
Appointments at home across the Sunshine Coast, or at our Birtinya clinic.
Straight answers
We recommend custom devices only when they will help, welcome second opinions, and tell you if another provider would suit you better.
Paperwork handled
Assessments, quotes and reports for NDIS (self-managed and plan-managed), DVA, WorkCover and private health.
Qualifications and standards
Maegan holds a Master of Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics and a Bachelor of Health Science. She has more than 10 years in practice across public hospital, private practice and remote community settings.
Prosthetists and orthotists are not registered with AHPRA. The profession is self-regulated through the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association (AOPA). Maegan is an AOPA Certified Practitioner, which means she meets AOPA’s professional standards and completes ongoing professional development to keep her certification.
In Queensland, health care workers who are not registered with AHPRA must also follow the National Code of Conduct for Health Care Workers.
