Kid-friendly appointments

We pace appointments around your child, use distraction-friendly scanning, and explain everything to parents and carers in plain language. Scanning can be split over visits, or we can use a cast instead.

Planning around growth

Reviews are booked around growth and milestones so devices are adjusted or replaced before they hold your child back. We can work alongside your child’s physio, OT and specialist team.

NDIS and early childhood

The NDIS often funds children’s orthoses and prostheses as assistive technology. We prepare the assessment, quote and reports your planner needs, for self-managed and plan-managed plans.

Frequently asked questions

How often do children’s devices need replacing?+
It depends on growth. Children’s AFOs are usually reviewed every 6 to 12 months, and prosthetic sockets more often during growth spurts. We map the schedule out so you can plan.
My child won’t sit still for scanning. Is that a problem?+
No. We work around it. Scanning can be split over visits, we use distraction, or we can take a cast instead.
Can appointments happen at home?+
Yes. Many families find home visits easier, especially for younger children.
